Sharon Rose:

Sharon Rose is a Central Pennsylvanian cosplayer, published author and illustrator, comic book lover, reading enthusiast, floral artist, and all-around geek girl. She has been featured in Geeks Are Sexy and Comic Book Resources, among numerous geek culture media sites, and was selected as “Cosplay of the Month” by SciFiNow Magazine and as a top-ten finalist in The Mary Sue and Calgary Expo’s Ultimate Cosplay Contest. Sharon is affiliated with the group Cosplay 10.6 and is regularly seen with her partner in crime (and crime fighting!) Kayley Marie. She gives back to the community as a member of the Central PA Avengers, a volunteer team of cosplayers who partner with nonprofits, libraries, and charity groups to bring smiles to kids and adults alike. Sharon is a vocal advocate of cosplay inclusivity and body positivity, and she encourages cosplayers to be supportive of their fellow cosplayers and be respectable representatives for those new to the hobby. When she isn’t in her studio covered in paint, glue, and fabric, Sharon can be found working at an academic library, drinking coffee, or snuggling with her cats.
